Pre-Nursing Foundations is a two-day, on-campus progrm designed for incoming pre-nursing students who will gain the knowledge and skills to navigate campus life and succeed in their first semester.
Day 1 I Info Session for Students and Parents
• How to prepare as a pre-nursing student
• Preparing for the nursing major
*Parent/guest sessions available in Spanish and English.
Day 2 I Student Immersion••
• "Know Your Why" seminar
• Exploring pathways in the healthcare professions
• A&P I Overview
• General Chemistry Overview
Parents/guests will attend only the first evening of the event, and students will attend both days.
At your session, you will need to:
• Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time.
• Bring a pen, pencil, paper, a water bottle and a backpack.
• Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes as well as a hat and/or
sunglasses.
• Come prepared with any questions you may have regarding CBU's campus, the pre-nursing
program, resources, etc.
This will be a great time to meet new people (peers, staff and faculty) and explore
what opportunities CBU
has to offer!
