Janita Mestre - MFT Trainee

Janita Mestre graduated from California Baptist University with a B.A. in Public Relations and is
currently working toward an M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University, anticipating graduation in August of 2024. She has experience working as a preschool teacher. Also, she served as a non-profit volunteer through her church, helping interns work through trauma and abuse. She is interested in working with individuals, families, and couples. Janita was born in South Africa and speaks Portuguese. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:4-5, “I sought the Lord and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.”
