Jacob Zumut - MFT Trainee

Jacob Zumut graduated with a B.A. in General Psychology from California State University San Bernardino. He is working towards his M.S. in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University and is anticipating graduation in the fall of 2025. Jacob gained experience as a psychological assistant at a counseling agency specializing in providing support and mental health services to marginalized and underrepresented individuals.  Jacob is interested in working with young adults and adolescents facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma. Jacob enjoys reading, being in nature, and spending time with friends and family. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:3-5, "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love."
