The Marketing & Communication department has been working behind the scenes to launch the redesigned calbaptist.edu website (slated for early 2024) and the new user experience we can offer prospective students, parents, alumni, donors and community.
One of the main goals of the redesign is to merge the current CBU Online Education Website (cbuonline.edu) into calbaptist.edu. Before the redesigned calbaptist.edu launches in early 2024, Marketing & Communication will temporarily move the cbuonline.edu website pages and assets into the current calbaptist.edu website infrastructure. This move has been executed in collaboration with key stakeholders, including Admissions and Information Technology Services. We expect to complete this process mid-September 2023. At that time, the cbuonline.edu website will no longer be active. However, all relevant website links will be updated and redirected to the new location within the calbaptist.edu domain.
Some benefits of the early merger include:
- Allow Marketing & Communication to provide support and resources to expedite updates to the CBU Online Education website assets.
- Keep the CBU brand consistent using the same layout and design as calbaptist.edu.
- Advanced relocation and preparation of Online Education content into the calbaptist.edu CMS (Content Management System).
- Reduce multiple or redundant website technologies and languages for a more streamlined front-end and back-end development process.
We appreciate your time and patience through this process. Please reach out to Marketing & Communication if you have questions or concerns at 951-343-8579.
