  • Teaching Experience

    Dr. Norwood has 18 years of experience in public education. She has been blessed to teach both middle school and high school students in the subject of biology, as well as coaching both cross country and track and field teams. Additionally, Dr. Norwood has served as a high school counselor, high school assistant principal, and high school principal.

  • Interests & Hobbies

    Dr. Norwood has raised five beautiful children, and now has two granddaughters and one grandson.
    She and her husband Rob, who is a high school agriculture teacher, have hiked both Mt. Whitney, and Half Dome in Yosemite on multiple occasions. Dr. Norwood also enjoys gardening, landscaping which includes koi ponds and a garden railroad.
    Our favorite vacation place is Sedona, Arizona."
