  • Personal Philosophy

“Psychotherapy, no less than evangelism, is work in the Spirit for its end is the preservation and transformation of God’s creation” –Jennifer Kunst & Siang-Yang Tan
“What matters in life is not what happens to you but what you remember and how you remember it.” –Gabriel Garcia Marquez
“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that’s mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we’re not alone.” –Mr. Rogers
“When we reach the end of our days, our life experience will equal what we have paid attention to, whether by choice or default.” –Williams James
“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.” --Charles William Eliot
