  • Personal Philosophy

    Addressing Life
So much of life goes unnoticed that not noticing becomes a habit.

    Focus of Athletics
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the LORD is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength (Deuteronomy 6:4-5). Athletics first grabbed our heart when we were young. It grew in our soul as we developed our abilities. And we found our strength in our knowledge of our sport and where we wanted to go. So, it is easy to see the correlation between athletics and what the Lord has called us to do. Within the Sports, Recreation, and Fitness Management discipline, it is my intentional focus that the Good News be not just what we say, not just what we do, but at its core who we are in Christ.

    Life Verses
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. We must remimber that we are always being watched, therefore we must represent Christ in every race we run.
