    Dr. Kim has served as an associate editor of the Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems. He has also served a guest editor of the Journal of Advances in Mechanical Engineering; the Journal of Sensors; and the Journal of Shock and Vibration. He has been an editorial board member of the International Journal of Advances In Computational Design. He is also currently serving on the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board as an associate editor, including The IEEE American Control Conference and The IEEE Conference on Decision and Control. He has served as an International Scientific Advisory Committee of the 13th International Conference on Structures under Shock and Impact. He has served as a reviewer for over 25 scientific and professional journals. I have served as the panel reviewer of the National Science Foundation.
