Experienced leader with 20 years in educational leadership, specializing in program innovation, curriculum design, strategic planning, program accreditation, assessment, and Student Service. Known for my empathetic and collaborative leadership, rooted in equity for all students, I serve as a mentor and faculty advisor for the Latino Student Union. I also mentor graduate students through their dissertation projects. I enjoy teaching students about how the Political Institutions work, and I empower them to engage in the government. I serve my community through volunteering with various organizations and as an elected public servant. I am currently collaborating on a book with a former student on the challenges of fundraising experienced by women of color running for elected office.
