"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. Rather, set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Tim. 4:12

Paul said this to Timothy when Timothy was somewhere close to 40 years old. I take this passage to mean that if God has it in mind to use someone for his purposes (be they teaching, leading, practicing, or any other -ing), it is up to the individual to show those watching that God is first in his/her life. A life lived for God lends weight to whatever message is preached. Age matters not (pardon me for getting my Yoda on here) when the things being taught are significant beyond this life. And when it comes down to it, isn't everything about life beyond this life? So get busy leading. Get busy teaching. Get busy doing God's work, wherever it takes you. Go live your purpose!
