Dr. Victoria Brodie has an extensive history working in the fields of communication, organizational development, and leadership. With a focus on strategic development for leaders and organizations in a rapidly changing world, her research and practice center around the complexity of change and optimizing performance within it. Victoria holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University and is an Associate Professor in Communication Arts at California Baptist University and is a Fellow of the Dr. Paul and Annie Kienel Leadership Institute. Victoria teaches courses in communication, public relations, and journalism. With over two decades of communication and leadership experience, Victoria has also served as a member of the Leadership Riverside Steering Committee for ten years. She has a passion for exploring leadership development best practices and has researched the impact of technology on leadership, strategic communication, and marketing.

2010-2012: Riverside Unified School District, Measure B Citizens Oversight Committee. Served as a member reviewing disbursement of Measure B funding for district of approximately 50,000 students.
2010: United Way of the Inland Valleys, Co-Chair of the Riverside United Way Campaign. Served as Co-Chair with Riverside City Councilmember Paul Davis for the Riverside United Way Fundraising Campaign.
2009-2012: Riverside Unified School District, Budget Advisory Committee member. Served as member and chair of the RUSD Budget Advisory Committee developing recommendations for funding cuts to the Board of Education. Chair (2011).
2009-2011: City of Riverside, Mayor’s Night Out Volunteer Business Coordinator. Supported former Mayor Ron Loveridge’s Mayor’s Night Out for outreach and coordination of local businesses at monthly events throughout city.
