Serving at homeless shelters

After God, I have a passion for many things in this life. Some of those interests include traveling (especially Europe), gourmet cooking, baking, gardening and interior design. I love decorating for Christmas and have been known to have somewhere around a dozen Christmas trees around my home. Time permitting, I have taken on several home projects which have required skills related to demolition, woodworking, wallpapering, painting and hard working ethics. I have two grown children that I adore but don't see as often as I would like as they live in northern California.

"While our vision can be narrowed and overshadowed by our circumstances at times, God is the same yesterday, today and forever. I serve the same God that parted the Red Sea, caused the walls of Jericho to fall and allowed Abraham to father a child in his 90s. I am a woman of great faith and determination as well as a prayer warrior believing that nothing is impossible for Him. To move forward we have to start where we are, use what we have and do what we can. It is my fervent prayer that God will continue to use me as a vessel of love and compassion for a lost and dying world as well as those who are hurting, sick or wounded. To God be the glory as I fulfill the plan, purpose and destiny that He predesigned specifically for me while I was yet in the womb. I am here for a time such as this to be that listening ear, that heart of compassion and that willing spirit who is ready to serve you as the Lord directs."
