He established three different community choirs and bands over the years, two in Indiana—Michiana Voices, an adult choir, as well as Future Voices, for children—and Voices, in Modesto, California that performed a variety of music, including sacred classics, a cappella, contemporary and patriotic music for various community concerts, events and benefits. He worked as an accompanist for 20 years for the choral clinics and conducting seminars of Dr. Gary Bonner as well as other soloists and ensembles.
He is currently the music director at Cornerstone Church in Hemet, California.
Steve has served various churches in both California and Indiana in many different capacities including worship leader, music pastor, music director as well as pianist and organist.
He and his wife, Christine and family have done many concerts, and they have also been a part of a mixed quartet that has recorded and performed for various churches. Until coming to CBU, he has maintained an active piano and vocal coaching studio. Chris and Steve have 4 children: Morgan, Bailey, Spencer, Easton.
