Jeffrey Scott Biddle, PhD, LMFT, Counseling Center Director

Jeff Biddle

Jeff Biddle holds a Doctor of Social Work/Executive Leadership from the University of Southern California, an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, an MDiv in Practical Theology from Talbot School of Theology, and a BA in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. Jeff is a licensed marriage and family therapist and assumed the position of Counseling Center director at California Baptist University in August 2013. For the previous 17 years, he served as a pastor, directing and overseeing a Christian counseling center, leading a marriage ministry, support groups, and a 12-step biblical recovery program; and served as chaplain to the church staff. Jeff has maintained a private practice since 2005, specializing in couples therapy, specifically for those in crisis, as well as working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and sexual addiction. Jeff is married to Michele, and they have three children, Brooke, Joshua and Scotty.

Julie Greenwalt, Counseling Center Office Manager

Julie Greenwalt graduated from California Baptist University with a BA in Behavioral Science. She assumed the position of secretary in the Counseling Center in June 2006 and became the office manager in 2013.

Laura Abbott, Counseling Center Secretary

Laura Abbott graduated from Southern Illinois University, where she received a BS in Health Care Management. She assumed the position of secretary in the Counseling Center in 2014.

Shelby Allen, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Shelby Allen

Shelby Allen obtained her BA in Psychology and her MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, and children.

Jessica Balderas

Jessica Balderas earned her BA in Photography and her MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working with at-risk youth and in interested in working with individuals, couples, and families.

Tiffany Batiste, MFT Trainee

Tiffany Batiste obtained her BA in Biological Psychology and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, families and children, particularly those experiencing trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, depression, and self-esteem issues.

Elizabeth Beatriz Agusti Becerra, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Elizabeth Becerra

Elizabeth Becerra received her BA in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, an MS in Organizational Psychology from Universadad de Sevilla, Spain, and an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working with students, and is interested in working with individuals, couples, and families. She is fluent in Spanish.

Christina Cendejas, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Christian Cendejas

Christina Cendejas received her BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working at a rehab nursing facility as well as with persons with autism spectrum disorders. Christina is interested in working with young adults, children, and families, particularly those dealing with depression and anxiety.

Austin Cook obtained his BS in Criminal Justice and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. He is interested in working with couples, families, young adults, and veterans. 

Hailey Dirksen, MFT Trainee

Hailey Dirksen obtained her BA in Psychology and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with families, couples, individuals, and athletes, particularly those with co-dependency issues and addictions.

Paulina Gonzalez obtained her BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working with children, and is interested in working with individuals, couples, and families.

Gabriela Heigl obtained her BA in Sociology and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, and families.

Aldys Ismael received her BA in Psychology and MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working in ministry with families and individuals struggling with addiction, as well as domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors. She has also led group therapy for children and adolescents. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, families, and children and is fluent in Spanish.

Selina Jordan obtained her BA in Psychology and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, families, and females with ADHD.

Traci Mohler, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Traci Mohler obtained her BA in Psychology and her MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working with trauma, grief/loss, and eating disorders, and is interested in working with individuals, families, and children.

Krystal Moore earned her BA in Psychology and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with young adults, couples, and families of first responders.

Annabelle Moreno, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Annabelle Moreno received her BA in Psychology from University of California, Irvine and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hope International University. She has experience working at a substance abuse facility as well as with foster children and families. Annabelle is interested in working with individulas suffering from the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety and couples.
