Jeffrey Scott Biddle, PhD, LMFT, Counseling Center Director
Jeff Biddle holds a Doctor of Social Work/Executive Leadership from the University of Southern California, an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, an MDiv in Practical Theology from Talbot School of Theology, and a BA in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. Jeff is a licensed marriage and family therapist and assumed the position of Counseling Center director at California Baptist University in August 2013. For the previous 17 years, he served as a pastor, directing and overseeing a Christian counseling center, leading a marriage ministry, support groups, and a 12-step biblical recovery program; and served as chaplain to the church staff. Jeff has maintained a private practice since 2005, specializing in couples therapy, specifically for those in crisis, as well as working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and sexual addiction. Jeff is married to Michele, and they have three children, Brooke, Joshua and Scotty.

Laura Abbott, Counseling Center Secretary
Laura Abbott graduated from Southern Illinois University, where she received a BS in Health Care Management. She acquired the position of secretary in the Counseling Center in 2014.
Justin Bain, MFT Trainee
Justin Bain earned his BA in Psychology from Biola University and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. He has experience working with youth and is interested in working with individuals and couples.
Christina Cendejas, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Christina Cendejas received her BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working at a rehab nursing facility as well as with persons with autism spectrum disorders. Christina is interested in working with young adults, children, and families, particularly those dealing with depression and anxiety.

Terri Doby earned her BA in Psychology from CSU Dominguez Hills and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, and families.

JR Grimmius obtained her BA in Psychology from Biola University and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has worked as a mentor for children, youth, and families and is interested in working with individuals and couples.

Shandy Ibison-Macias, MFT Trainee
Shandy Ibison-Macias received her BA in Psychology and is currently working toward on MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience working with children as an ABA Therapist and Associate Clinical Supervisor. Shandy is interested in working with individuals, families, and children.

Aspen Kling obtained her BA in Psychology from Biola University and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. She has experience mentoring teens and young adults and is interested in working with young adults and teens with addictions.

She has experience working with children and adults with disabilities. Bria is interested in working with sexual assault survivors and individuals with eating disorders.

Angela Parry earned her BA in Theatre Arts and an MA in Counseling from Concordia University Irvine. She is interested in working with individuals, couples, and families, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and trauma.

Isaac Reed III obtained his BA in Psychology from Eastern Washington University and is currently working toward an MS in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University. He is interested in working with individuals and families and is fluent in German.

She has experience working with children as an ABA Therapist and with adults in a rehabilitation and treatment facility. Emma is interested in working with individuals, couples and families, particulary those affected by trauma and eating disorders.
