Graduate Assistantship: A yearlong practical experience in a specified area relating to fitness, group exercise, climbing, facility operation or student development. This is a paid hourly position (NOT benefits eligible); opportunities for renewal annually. You MUST be enrolled in a graduate program (at CBU or any institution locally) to qualify. Internship: This is a paid or unpaid position and MAY have the opportunity for academic credit depending on your major and requirements. There are a limited amount of internship opportunities available; they require VP approval.
Kinesiology Service Learning: an opportunity for fieldwork hours utilizing the skills and information learned academically in a practical setting. Experience may include:
- 1.5 mile run
- Sit and reach
- Grip strength
- Push ups
- VO2 max
Student Employment Opportunities:
Personal trainer (must be certified)
Group exercise instructor
