Description: Commitment, perseverance and dedication are just some of the adjectives required to train like a Spartan. Spartan Challenge will get you prepared to run in a Spartan Sprint Race and is for intermediate to advanced fitness levels. This is obstacle course training at its best. Race date is Oct. 29 in Big Bear, Ca.

Description: It's time for a girls only event held at the Rec Center! Ladies, come enjoy several fun events including female led fitness events as well as personal instruction on the various resources in the Rec Center. It will be a night centered on building female strength and dignity. Come experience it for yourself!

Description: Yes, it’s Men’s Night! Brought to you by the Rec Center, ASCBU, Community Life, Residence Life, Provider and the Office of Spiritual Life to create a men's only gym night full of competitions and challenges.
Women's Self Defense
Date: September 22nd and November 14th
Time: 4-8 p.m.
Description: The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. Sign up at the Recreation Center! A refundable $25 deposit is required but will be returned at the completion of the course. Description: If you want to burn over 845 calories in 45 minutes during high intensity cardio interval training, this is the class for you! This combination of low-impact cardio on the ARC elliptical machine and bodyworks on a mat results in a unique and fun full-body workout. Olympic Weight Lifting

Time: Mondays 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Description: Here is your chance to learn the best techniques in lifting or to improve on what you already know. This workshop will include instruction on barbell and dumbbell snatch and hang cleans! Sunrise and Sunset Stretch
Date: October 3rd
Time: 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Description: It is a universal fact that stretching is a great way to start and end your day. So join us on the roof for a fun time of deep stretching and bring as many friends as you can! Our instructor will teach you the proper ways to stretch your body right. It will be a great time of fellowship while watching the beauty of God's handiwork at the day's beginning and end.
Strength and Conditioning
Date: October 4th
Description: The Strength and Conditioning Master Class is a perfect opportunity to learn proper technique, form, and breathing for multiple types of lifts and cardio exercises. Having a hard time learning the proper push-up or pull-up form and technique? This Master Class will show you how to do just that in the safest way possible. Description: Fun with glow-in-the-dark doesn't have to end in elementary school. Our special Glow Cycle class is a one of a kind exercise experience! Diversifying your fitness will never have felt so good!

Description: Bosu Blast aims to workout your core and improve your balance. This Master Class uses 45 minutes to give you a solid workout using the half dome that you see pictured.
