Guest Tickets & Seating
Due to the large number of Spring graduates, you will need to request tickets for
your guests who will be attending your ceremony. This will help us ensure we have
room for everyone who is planning to attend, and that we are distributing tickets
fairly. Graduates participating in the ceremony do not need a ticket – these are for
your guests only.
PLEASE NOTE: All children age 2 and older will require a ticket.
Ticket Requests must be submitted by Friday, MARCH 31 using the forms below. If you do not submit a ticket request form by this date, we cannot guarantee there will be tickets available for you. Be sure to select the correct ceremony for your ticket request.
NUMBER OF TICKETS PER GRADUATE
At this time, we cannot guarantee more than 10 tickets per student. If you request more than 10 tickets, we will notify you by Friday, April 7 to confirm how many tickets you will be receiving. It's our goal to be as fair as possible, while ensuring graduates are able to invite as many guests as possible, so please only request the number of tickets you are certain you will use.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO LATE APPLICANTS
If you are posting your degree on May 5, and you submitted your graduation application after the February 1 deadline, you will only be guaranteed 2 guest tickets. Late applicants should complete the Ticket Request Form as directed above by March 31, and you will be notified by Friday, April 7, if additional tickets are available. Tickets will be distributed to students according to the date of graduation applications - first to apply will be first to receive additional tickets.
IF YOU'RE POSTING DEGREE on AUGUST 31
If you are posting your degree on August 31 - you will not be able to request tickets until you have submitted your graduation application. Once your application has been received, you can submit a ticket request form. We cannot guarantee more than 10 tickets per student - if you request more than 10 tickets, we will notify you by Friday, April 7 to confirm how many tickets you will be receiving. If you submit your graduation application after the deadline to request tickets - March 31 - we cannot guarantee there will be tickets available for you.
PICKING UP YOUR TICKETS
You can pick up your tickets during Grad Finale on April 25-26. If you are unable to attend this event, please contact email@example.com to schedule a time to pick up your tickets. Any tickets that have not been picked up by Wednesday, May 3, will be given to other graduates.
If you live more than 100 miles away from CBU, you can request to have your tickets mailed to you. After completing the Graduation Exit Process, forward the confirmation e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, student ID and address. Please email your request no later than Friday, April 14 to allow adequate time for mailing. We will not fulfill any requests received after this date.
We will not hold tickets for will call at the Arena. Any tickets that have not been picked up by Wednesday, April 3, will be distributed to other graduates.
Please return any tickets that you will not be using by Wednesday, April 3. On Thursday, April 4 we will release all tickets that were returned or have not been picked up. Extras will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Location & Times TBD.
The Arena has metal detectors at all entrances, and guests should expect to go through this screening upon arrival. Items such as balloons and wrapped gifts are prohibited at the ceremonies. Click here to see a complete list of prohibited items.
Due to the capacity of this event, seats may not be saved beyond 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Therefore, to ensure guests are able to sit together with family and friends, they should arrive early. Ushers will place guests in any empty seats in the last 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.
Doors will open 1 ½ hours prior to the scheduled Ceremony time - no guests will be permitted to enter earlier than this.
