Position Title: Customer Service Attendant
General Information: The Customer Service Attendant is responsible for providing customer service to all
Recreation Center participants and members. Customer Service Attendants are responsible
for monitoring the access of Recreation Center facilities and activity spaces and
dispensation of general equipment rentals. CSA’s assist the Facility Lead with ensuring
the safety of all Recreation Center participants and the set-up and tear-down of informal
recreation equipment. First Aid/CPR certification is required prior to working a shift.
Training will be provided.
Position Title: Design Lead
General Information: The Design Lead is responsible for creating the designs for new and existing Recreation
programs, classes, and events through the use of print marketing, digital marketing,
and social media. The Design Lead will assist in the documentation of events through
photography and/or video.
Position Title: Esports Lead
General Information: Intramural Esports Leads are responsible for coordinating all aspects of virtual intramural
programming including but not limited to monitoring tournaments, Discord and Twitch
channels.
Position Title: Facility Lead
General Information: The Facility Lead is responsible for ensuring the safety of participants in all areas
at the Recreation Center and the supervision over student employees and work areas
throughout the Recreation Center. Prior work experience within the Recreation Center
for a minimum of eight months (two consecutive semesters) is required before becoming
a Facility Lead. First Aid/CPR certification is required prior to working a shift. Training will be
provided.
Position Title: Group Exercise Instructor
General Information: Provide group exercise instruction on a weekly schedule, demonstrating the ability
to instruct safe, effective, and enjoyable fitness classes. Supervise exercise participants
during fitness classes, assisting participants in maximizing the efficiency of their
workouts. First Aid/CPR certification is required prior to working a shift. Training will be
provided.
Position Title: Intramural Lead
General Information: Intramural Sports Interns are responsible for coordinating all aspects of intramural
programming and various tournaments for the campus community. First Aid/CPR certification is required prior to working a shift. Training will be
provided.
Position Title: Intramural Official
General Information: Officials are needed for flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer or any number
of other sports throughout the year. Intramural Officials are expected to know all
of the rules for the respective sport, ensure safety of all participants and carry
out the fair play rules set forth by the Campus Recreation staff. This position requires
several days of training.
Position Title: Outdoor Adventure Lead
General Information: Outdoor Adventure Interns are responsible for coordinating all aspects of outdoor
recreational programming and assisting in our equipment rental program. First Aid/CPR certification is required prior to working a shift. Training will be
provided.
Position Title: Personal Trainer
General Information: Provides one-on-one fitness training to clients including: safe and effective exercise programs,
spotting and perfection of techniques, ensuring proper and safe training while providing
individual attention and motivation. Provide each client with proper health evaluations
and fitness testing to help determine current fitness levels and goals. Be able to
explain proper use of equipment. Must possess Personal Training Certification by ACE,
ISSA, IFPA, NESTA, NASM, NSCA or ACSM. First Aid/CPR certification is required prior to working a shift. Training will be
provided.
