Group Exercise helps to provide healthy, effective alternatives to standard workouts. We provide enjoyable classes that encourage participation and educate patrons on the benefits of exercise. Join us for cycling, Zumba, Yoga, TRX Suspension training and more. Group Exercise has something for everyone and is suited for individuals of all fitness levels.

    Diversify Your Workout—Join a Group X Class Today!

    Once you start attending GX classes, you will be able to:

    • Apply the skills demonstrated by the group exercise instructor to your personal workout regimen. 
    • Demonstrate the skills taught by the group exercise instructor. 
    • Identify and access a variety of group exercise classes to meet your personal fitness goals.

     

    Class Descriptions

    Bodyworks + Abs is a class that gives you a full body workout using hand weights. You'll focus on body parts from head to toe and finish off with an ab workout.

    Bodyblast Boot Camp is a high intensity boot camp style workout that integrates high intensity strength exercises with cardio. Incorporating group exercises, drills, and circuit style movements.

    BOSU BLAST includes balance, stability, core, cardio, toning ... you name it! BOSU training targets the whole body, works the core and leaves you feeling great. Workout hard while having a BLAST!

    BOSU Boxing is a class where you train like a Boxer and knockout your workout while integrating the BOSU Ball in the dynamic class setting. Each class will begin with a warm up followed up with a boxing drill incorporating the BOSU ball that will engage your entire body, balance, and endurance.

    Boxing Bootcamp is a class where you hit the bags with the intensity of a personal training session and the motivation of a group environment. Each class begins with a warm-up, followed by a workout that includes strength, agility and endurance.

    Cycle is a non-impact workout and is one of the most efficient ways to reach your fitness goals. You don't even need to bring your own bike.

    Deep Stretch uses a combination of movement, poses and breath to work on strength, flexibility and balance. This all-level class will focus on alignment. Beginners will safely learn the basics while more experienced participants can take postures to a deeper level.

    HardCORE is a class that focuses on toning and defining your abs while making your back stronger to improve posture and core strength. Exercises are performed using body weight and a variety of equipment. 

    HIIT High Intensity Interval Training is a training technique in which you give all-out, maximum effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short, sometimes active recovery periods.

    HIIT Express is the 30-minute version of the HIIT class.  

    Kickboxing is an action-packed workout that utilizes a series of punching and kicking combinations to improve strength, muscle tone and endurance in a fun, energetic atmosphere. All levels are welcome!

    Strongboard is a blend of high intensity interval exercises that incorporates the Strongboard to increase strength, balance and core stability. Strongboard is a balance board comprised of four springs centered between a platform and a base that allows users to train using their own body weight for resistance during full-motion exercises.

    Strongboard Burn offers cardio, balance, and strength training using moderate weights. Increase your dynamic stability, strength, stamina, and balance with this total body workout for all fitness levels.

    Strongboard Pump is a high-energy class that combines high repetitions of light to moderate weight and dynamic body weight movements that are performed on a Strongboard.

    Tabata Cycle is an intense form of interval training on the bike, Tabata drills consist of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. Multiply that by 8 times, and you get one 4-minute Tabata. Plan to do four tabatas total in 30 minutes.

    TRX Suspension Training leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to increase or decrease resistance.

    Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music and choreography that will have you moving to a blend of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Add a little Latin flavor to your workout!

    Men's Health Event: This is an event for the fellas! Learn your "numbers" (blood sugar, blood pressure, body fat, muscle %), enjoy yummy treats, learn new workout ideas and grab some swag!

    Ladies' Night: Come be a part of the tradition of Ladies' Night! Cardio Barre, Group X classes, eyebrow threading, manicures, Resource Fair, yummy treats, giveaways, education, information and encouragement...and a great workout! Our weight room, the Curve and Fitness Suite will be open. We will have personal trainers available to answer questions and help you with your fitness goal. 

    Couch to 5K: We will take you from the couch to running in a 5k race. This program is for ALL fitness levels.

    Spartan Challenge: Commitment, perseverance and dedication are just some of the adjectives required to be a Spartan. Weekly team workouts will help you prepare for the Spartan Race and gets you off the couch and on the road to a happier, healthier you.

    ARC Attack: Join us for an elliptical-type HIIT workout on our ARC machines. You will work with a partner to help each other burn up to 800 calories using a variety of weighted and body weight exercises in addition to the ARC machine. This class is for ALL fitness levels; come prepared to work!

    MURPH Training: Harness your inner warrior…join us in training for the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Workout. This unique progressive training is for ALL fitness levels. Every workout progressively includes running, push-ups, pull ups and squats. The final workout includes: 2 mile run (total), 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups and 300 squats.

    Self Defense: Teaching students the ability to be aware and defend themselves against someone who is trying to use their vulnerability. This is a free class with a $100 value.
