Event Overview

Transferring to another college can be a challenge.  We know that you want to maximize your time, understand what classes will transfer over, and start your career.  We invite you to experience what it's like to be a CBU student by attending this preview event that is exclusively for Transfer Students interested in the Traditional Undergraduate Daytime program at CBU.

At Transfer Day we want you to understand what courses transfer to CBU and have an estimate of how long it will take for you to graduate.  During the Academic Plan Workshop, Academic Advisors will help you build your own Academic Plan which will lay out suggested courses you need to take each semester at CBU and an estimate of how long it would take you to graduate.* In order to do this, you will need to send us all of your unofficial transcripts, which you can upload when you register for the event.  You can also email them after registration to Sydney Shwetz at The last day to send in unofficial transcripts is at noon one week prior to each event.

If you have already been accepted and sign up for Transfer Day at least one week before the event you will automatically receive an unofficial academic plan and do not need to submit any transcripts unless your academic record at CBU is incomplete.

*Academic plans are built by the student based on provided information from the current academic catalog. All plans are unofficial and subject to change based on curriculum updates each academic year.

Who should attend Transfer Day?

  • Transfer students wondering how many of their completed units will transfer over to CBU.
Once you register for the event, you can send us your unofficial transcripts that we can evaluate and let you know what transfers.

  • Transfer students that are considering transferring to CBU.
By attending you will learn how completing your degree at CBU will help you live your purpose.

  • Students who are wondering how long it will take to finish their degree at CBU.
By sending us all your unofficial transcripts, we will have the tools needed to help you build your academic plan. Once it's built at the event, you will have an estimate of how long it will take for you to graduate from CBU.
