Event Overview

As you think about college, you may be wondering which school to choose, which major to declare and how you will finance your education. Or perhaps you are looking for an encouraging Christian environment where you can prepare to live your purpose and have an unbelievable amount of fun at the same time. Attending Spring Preview Day can help provide answers to these questions and more. Students will have the chance to take part in the following activities:

  • Sit in on a Class
  • Attend Chapel
  • Take a tour of campus
  • Hear from faculty and deans about academic opportunities
  • Eat in CBU's award-winning dining commons

Class Visits:
We believe that sitting in on a class at CBU is a crucial part of Spring Preview Day and are excited for you to glimpse the classroom experience for yourself! We pre-assign all students to classes and do our best to place students in classes that correspond to their major. However, due to limited availability at the days and times of the event, students may be placed into a class that is not directly linked to their major of interest. We know this is not ideal and wish we could match it up perfectly! However, we believe that whichever class students visit, they will see the quality and intentionality of our faculty, and will help you see if CBU is the right fit.

Come experience a crash-course introduction to the life-changing CBU college experience!

Who should attend Spring Preview Day?

Spring Preview Day is an opportunity for high school juniors to experience a crash-course in all things CBU! Whether you have already been on campus before or not, this is an excellent chance to experience the CBU culture, firsthand.

Coming from out of town?

We have a list of recommended places to stay to assist our students visiting from out of the area (note: special room rates are available at the Ayres Hotel). In addition, the Admissions office offers an airport drop-off service for students traveling alone. Students who attend Spring Preview Day can be taken back to Ontario Airport at 5:30 pm on the day of the event. If interested in transportation to Ontario Airport, please notify our office at admissions@calbaptist.edu.
