Event Overview

At CBU, our desire is that you learn to master new information, gain valuable skills, and develop deep convictions that will change your life. We hope that you build lasting friendships and lifelong connections with faculty, staff and peers. For many of you, these next four years will be the most impactful of your life. At Lancer Day, a preview event for accepted students, you will see how CBU helps you do each of these things.

Throughout the event we hope you meet other students who have been accepted and envision yourself learning as you hear directly from the professors in your major. You will also get to choose from different sessions based on your specific interest, whether it's career goals or social involvement, so you can see what your future will look like at CBU.  Meet fellow students, connect with offices and hear about the opportunities and events that can help you make the most of your time as a Lancer. How will you live your purpose?

Who should attend Lancer Day?

All students accepted for the fall 2019 semester are invited to attend. Students can bring up to two (2) guests. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Would you like to visit a class?

Students interested in visiting a class at Lancer Day can contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. A class visit opportunity will be offered at the same time as the Career Center presentation and the first breakout session. Students can choose to forego those sessions to visit a class instead. Please contact Sydney Shwetz at to ask about the possibility of arranging a class visit on Lancer Day. Requests must be made at least one (1) week in advance.

Coming from out of town?

We recommend that students traveling from out of the area stay at the Ayres Hotel. Feel free to contact with any questions you may have.
