Welcome Weekend

Your Chance to Connect

There are many starting points that you will experience in your lifetime that are significant and memorable.  And then there's becoming a CBU Lancer.  You will embark on that Journey at Welcome Weekend, where you will get a taste for the rich traditions and warm community that you will experience for years to come.  Connect with other students at our social events, connect with God as we discover more about Him, and connect with the campus - your new home.  Lance-Up Class of 2021!

Who Should Attend Welcome Weekend?

All new students are expected to attend the events of Welcome Weekend.  We have planned everything to help students as they transition to being a student at CBU.  This includes all incoming Freshman and Transfer students.

Things to do Before Welcome Weekend

Attend New Student Orientation

All students are required to attend New Student Orientation. For those students who register via Virtual Orientation or are a student that cannot make any of the May-July dates in-person New Student Orientations, you will need to attend Alternate Orientation on Thursday, August 31st, the day before Welcome Weekend begins.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 951-343-4212 or send us an e-mail at admissions@calbaptist.edu.
