Congratulations! Your acceptance to graduate school is the beginning of an exciting journey at California Baptist University. Graduate Student Kickoff will be on January 9th from 4:00pm- 7:00pm and will prepare you for this journey. Click the date below to register.
Who should attend Graduate Student Kickoff?
You should attend if you will be starting a graduate program in Spring 2020. Graduate Student Kickoff is an opportunity for you to learn about the resources available to you as a CBU student as well as give you the opportunity to meet future classmates and faculty. This is a time to begin building your professional network that will help you succeed academically, professionally, and spiritually. As you begin your studies, we are excited to celebrate you and offer the support of our staff and faculty!
Is attendance mandatory?
This is a mandatory event for students only. We apologize, but we are not able to accommodate additional guests at this event. If you have a conflict with dates, please contact your admissions counselor.
As you begin your new endeavor in graduate school, we want to answer some of the questions you may have and help you get to know CBU. We will review everything from where to find academic resources to where to grab a great cup of coffee on campus. Come hear from staff and faculty as they answer your questions and speak to how graduate school at CBU will prepare you to live your purpose. Every student in attendance will also receive a wonderful CBU gift.
- Resource Fair including Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Veterans Affairs and more! You will also have the opportunity to pick up your CBU ID card and Parking Permit if previously submitted.
- Meet faculty and other students in your program during program-specific breakout sessions
- Be entered into a book voucher/scholarship giveaway
- Optional campus tour between 4:00pm- 4:30pm
