Congratulations! We hope you will spend your next season in life as a Lancer.

Here is an overview of the next steps that need to be completed prior to starting your CBU journey this coming fall semester. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram @cbu_futurelancers! 

Once you have made your decision about joining the Lancer Nation, let us know if you plan to attend! You can do this by filling out the Intent to Enroll form at the bottom of this page.

  • CBU will access your FAFSA and build you a personalized financial aid offer. You will be notified by mail and email once your financial aid offer is ready to view.
  • For more information about the FAFSA process, please visit the Apply For Aid page.
  • Once available, review your financial aid offer and accept/decline aid.
    • Log in to LancerLink.
    • Click the 'Student Finance' tab.
    • Locate the 'My Financial Aid' card and click the 'Go to My Financial Aid' button.
    • Click the 'Offer' tab at the top to review your financial aid offer.
    • Use the selection boxes to accept/decline each component of your offer. To finalize your selections, click 'Submit' at the bottom of the page.

The 2027/2028 Housing Application will open in January 2027. In the meantime, click here to view the living areas!

After accessing the housing application, you will follow these steps:

1. Access the Student Housing Portal

    • Using your LancerNet account username and password, log in to LancerLink.
    • Select the "Life @ CBU" tab on the navigation bar.
    • Locate the "Residence Life and Housing Services" card and click on the "Student Housing Portal" link.
    • If you are having trouble accessing LancerLink using your LancerNet account, please contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office at admissions@calbaptist.edu. 

2. Fill Out the Housing Application

    • Once you have accessed the student housing portal, select the 2027/2028 Housing Application. Complete the form and provide payment for the $100 non-refundable reservation fee.

3. Room Selection

    • Room selection will take place at a later date after the 2027/2028 Housing Application has been completed and the $100 non-refundable reservation fee has been processed by the Housing Services Office. Each student will be sent an email from HousingServices@calbaptist.edu once they have been cleared for room selection.
      • First-Time Freshman Students: Once notified, room selection will be available within the student housing portal.
      • Transfer Students: Once notified, students will be given a timeslot to complete the room selection process. Room selection timeslots will be assigned based on the submission date of the housing application and the housing reservation fee.

  • Enroll at CBU by signing up for New Student Class Registration! The Academic Advising Office will support you through this online process where you will have an entire week to register for your first semester classes. Sign ups for New Student Class Registration will open in February 2027, with the first class registration week taking place at the end of March 2027.

After you complete New Student Class Registration, attend CBU Connect — an event taking place this summer where you can begin to immerse yourself in all things CBU. Get a head start on your enrolled next steps checklist, take your photo for your student ID card, enjoy lunch with other future Lancers and more!

We know that the transition into college can sometimes be overwhelming, but we are committed to making sure new Lancers are set up for success as they begin their time at CBU.

  • Submit a signed Tuition and Fee Agreement prior to start of classes and make approved payment arrangements to cover your balance. Please contact Student Accounts to make your payment arrangements as soon as you finish class registration.
