You're Invited!
California Baptist University invites all Fall 2025 accepted graduate and online students to join us for an evening of great food, fellowship and getting more acquainted with the campus. Students will have the chance to connect with various campus resources, take a walking tour, enjoy dinner and connect with other future Lancers.
Registration Opens Early May!
- Get a chance to mingle and connect with students in your cohort.
- Take care of business, such as obtaining your student ID card and registering your vehicle.
- Take a guided tour of our beautiful campus (excluding nursing and health science campuses).
- Enjoy an all-you-can-eat dinner at our Alumni Dining Commons.
Campus Tour
If you have never been to CBU’s campus before, then we invite you to come see why we we’re ranked #2 in California for Best College Campus. Please note that this tour will not include the nursing or health science campuses.
Dining with Faculty
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat dinner on us. This is a great opportunity to mingle with others in your cohort and connect with future professors.
Resource Fair
Discover all CBU has to offer students by connecting with various offices and departments during the resource fair.
If you have been accepted to either an on-campus graduate level program or online program of any level for Fall 2025 semester, come join us!
Our desire is to celebrate your decision to continue your education and provide an opportunity for you to connect with CBU’s campus and community.
This event is free for each accepted student and a plus one.
Check back in early May to register.
Grad Kickoff is taking place on campus from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM on the following dates:

Getting to Campus and Parking
When you arrive to campus, we recommend that you exit Adams Street off the 91 West (North of Campus Bridge Drive/Briarwood Drive) and make a left on Campus Bridge Drive.
Upon arrival, follow the ‘Event Parking’ signs to park in the parking structure. Please note that there is no fee to park on campus.
After you park, follow the walking signs to the Event Center where our staff will check you in.

- Meet other incoming students during dinner and continue to connect during our Resource Fair.
- Connect with each university office during the resource fair.
