General Information

CBU’s Broadcast Camp is a three-day creative program designed to introduce campers to the fundamentals of visual storytelling while providing them with hands-on experience in producing, editing, and showcasing their own short video project.

Over the course of three days, campers will learn essential skills in content creation, including camera basics, shot composition, beginner editing techniques, and social media posting and sharing. Each camper will produce their own compelling content from start to finish.

Campers will learn from an Emmy-award winning broadcast journalist as well as student media producers with experience working on award-winning CBU student media productions such as CBU TV, Lancers Sports, Pursuit Magazine, and The Banner newspaper.
