To promote an understanding and appreciation for the intricacies of the Biological Sciences to equip our scholars to be faithful stewards of creation.

• Prepare students for careers and graduate training by providing undergraduate and graduate programs that support both major and non-major students.

• Cultivate a climate that “seeds and encourages” growth in academics, research, social, community, and spiritual areas.

• Support experiential learning and research to empower our students to develop an independent mind-set that will set them apart as leaders in their field to solve health, environmental, and global issues.
