CBU Alum Hired to Photograph for Adobe

During this Spring, CAVAD alumni Jaydon Miller ('25), had the fantastic opportunity to capture professional headshots at Adobe’s headquarters in San Jose for Adobe’s Creative Apprenticeship program.
Jaydon received his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, with a concentration in Photography from CBU. Less than a year out from graduating college, Jaydon was contracted by Adobe to take photos of their Creative Apprenticeship team at their San Jose office location.
Jaydon explains how he submitted his application; he purposely was as detailed as possible when explaining his plan for shooting. “I think because everything was so clear and professional, they were really interested, so they got back to me the next day to confirm a few more details. From there, I got the job!” Jaydon shares.

His choice to confidently put himself out there in his chosen industry, a skill highly encouraged at CAVAD, was met with great appreciation. After his time shooting for Adobe, he pulled together a video recap of his time, which quickly made its way throughout the company with great acclaim. Through this notoriety, Jaydon connected with his new mentor, Justin Bettman, a successful LA-based photographer.
CAVAD's encouragement and resources were instrumental in connecting Jaydon to this opportunity. CAVAD programs have strongly encouraged students to apply for the Adobe Apprenticeship and other Adobe positions, with great success. Alumni of the Adobe Apprenticeship include CBU alums such as Audrey Easter ('26), Katelyn Wong ('26), and Avery DeJagger ('26). Many other CAVAD students have been featured on Adobe Live, Adobe's official podcast show.
Jaydon shares how this experience working for Adobe was so positive for him, "Not only did I get to complete a really cool project, but I also got connected with an incredible industry professional through the experience."
