The environmental science minor (24 units) is for students who have a desire to solve environmental challenges and be involved in their solutions. Heightened public interest in the hazards facing the environment, as well as the increasing demands placed on the environment by population growth, is projected to spur demand for environmental scientists and specialists. It’s a great time to study environmental science!

At CBU, you will learn from professors who are dedicated to their students. You will have opportunities to work closely with faculty members, assisting with research projects. This interaction will help you in choosing a career goal that fits your strengths and helps realize your goals.

Topics covered include cell structure and function, genetics, reproduction, and development of animal systems.
