How long is this program?
The RN to BSN program is a 14-16 month program depending on transferable units.

Is this program online?
Yes, the program is fully online. The clinical practicum experiences will be completed at local agencies.

When is this program offered? 
Currently, the RN to BSN program admits students three times a year—fall (September), summer and spring (January). 

How much does the program cost?
At $340 per unit, the cost could range from $10,540 to $15,640 (not including fees), depending on how many units are transferred in.

Is this program accredited?
The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) has approved the program. CBU is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at California Baptist University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). 

What is the College of Nursing's reputation in the community?
The College of Nursing has an excellent regional and national reputation, as does the university. We anticipate our graduates will be actively recruited as valuable healthcare providers. The CBU College of Nursing is the first four-year regionally and nationally accredited university in the County of Riverside.

Will I be required to complete clinical rotation hours as part of the program?
Yes, all BSN students are required to participate in clinical practicum hours as mandated by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). The CBU College of Nursing meets or exceeds all clinical hour requirements.

Where can I complete clinical rotation hours?
As the program is online, students do not have to come to campus for classes and may accrue clinical rotation hours in an agency near them. Students will complete their clinical rotation hours in an agency with a preceptor and clinical affiliation agreement.  Students must have an active RN license in the state where the practicum will be completed.
