In addition to the general education and core music degree requirements, students must complete all of the prescribed courses listed in the instrumental performance major as well as 12 units of additional upper division music electives or a concentration. 

The General Education requirements will follow the curriculum set forth for other University degree programs. Twelve (12) units of G.E. requirements will be met through the specific coursework of the Instrumental Performance major. See School of Performing Arts Undergraduate Handbook for details.
