Complaints Regarding the Physical Therapist Assistant Program
All complaints regarding the CBU PTA program should be expressed in writing and sent to the PTA Program Director via email at jedmisten@calbaptist.edu. The PTA Program Director will address each complaint with a resolution or response within 30 days. Complaints will be maintained by the PTA Program Director for a period of 2 years.

Complaints Outside the Realm of Due Process
The CBU PTA program values concerns or complaints that arise outside of the University’s due process. In order for the concern or complaint to be acted upon, the individual must put the complaint in writing and the event or concern must have occurred within the last year. The individual with the concern or complaint must send the complaint to either the PTA Program Director or the Dean of the College of Health Science at the following email addresses:

Once notified of the receipt of the concern or complaint, the Dean and/or the PTA Program Director will attempt to resolve the complaint and contact the individual who placed the complaint within 30 days. Concerns or complaints outside the realm of due process will be maintained by the PTA Program Director for 2 years.
Prohibition of Retaliation
CBU strictly prohibits retaliation against any person for using the reporting procedure, or for filing, testifying, assisting or participating in any manner regarding complaints against the university, programs, or individuals involved. Any person who violates this policy will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination if they are an employee, and/or dismissal if they are a student. Retaliation is any action by any person that is perceived as: intimidating, hostile, harassing, retribution, or violent that occurred in connection to the making and Investigation of the report.
