Virtual New Student Orientation
Welcome to Virtual New Student Orientation. We are excited that you have decided to join our Lancer family and hope that you find Virtual New Student Orientation both informative and easy to use.
On the right side of the page you will notice steps 1-7. In step 1 we want to introduce you to our online student portal, InsideCBU. In step 2 we want to make certain that you have filled out your paper and online forms. In step 3 we will advise you on what classes to take when you register for your first semester at CBU. We will also guide you through the registration process. In step 4 we walk you through housing options, costs, and application procedures. In step 5 we will guide you through selecting a meal plan. In step 6, Financial Aid and Student Accounts, we will look at how to cover the cost of college. Finally, in step 7, you will learn about Welcome Weekend and when you will arrive on campus.
As you progress through these steps you’re likely to have a few questions. Each page has a live chat or email button in the right sidebar that allows you to reach out to a CBU Academic Advisor for help. You will also find contact information for the appropriate office at the bottom of each webpage.
Parents: A student must provide written consent for parents, guardians, or other individuals to access their educational record. In step 2 your student will download the FERPA form that he / she can use to grant / restrict access to information.
Our hope and prayer is that you have a wonderful experience here at CBU and that you allow us to walk with you in finding and living the purpose God has called you to.
You can now proceed to Step 1 - InsideCBU.
