Spirit Week school pride moments lead up to homecoming weekend

Riverside, Calif. (Feb. 25, 2020) – California Baptist University is celebrating Spirit Week from Feb. 24–29 with plenty of ways to show Lancer pride.

On Feb. 24, Lancers were encouraged to wear blue and gold apparel in honor of the school’s colors. On Feb. 26, the men’s basketball team plays Utah Valley University at 7 p.m. at the Events Center. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and broadcast on radio at Fox Sports AM 1350.

On Feb. 27, Community Life will host an Open Mic Night at the Community Life Lounge, allowing students to showcase their creative talents. On Feb. 28, CBU will offer tethered hot air balloon rides on the Front Lawn from 8–10 p.m. along with food trucks, music and activities.

The culmination of Spirit Week will be Homecoming 2020 that includes a pre-game party and men’s basketball game against Seattle University on Feb. 29. For a full list of homecoming activities please click here.
