Lancer Media Group earns multiple regional and national awards

Riverside, Calif. (March 24, 2023) – Lancer Media Group at California Baptist University brought home 21 awards over spring break from West Coast and national conventions.
The students made a strong showing at the Associated Collegiate Press and California College Media Association’s Spring National College Media Conference in San Francisco and the College Media Association’s Spring National College Media Convention in New York.
Pursuit magazine notably placed first at the two events for its fall 2022 issue.
“It is never about the awards we win, but it is rewarding to see the hard work of our students acknowledged by prestigious universities and practicing journalism professionals across the state and country,” said Abby Wolf, assistant director of student publications. “We are blessed that our students get the opportunity to travel to a new city and gain ideas and inspiration from other universities and journalists. They return inspired and refreshed by the experience.”
