Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management

The Aviation Management major at CBU is designed to prepare students to function as aviation professionals without a flight background. Indeed, pilots are only one part of the aviation industry equation! The industry also needs leaders to manage airports, airlines, fixed base operators, flight schools, aircraft manufacturing facilities, and so much more. The curriculum for this major has been developed to provide students with a business focus in aviation, with specific courses in Aviation Safety, Aviation Security, Fixed Base Operations, Airport Management, Airport Planning and Design, Airline Management, Aviation Finance, and Aviation Consulting.

Students desiring to enter the fields of Aviation Safety and Security will be prepared to obtain a position as Safety Manager or Airport Security Coordinator.
