School of Christian Ministries Program Student Outcomes
PSO # 1 (biblically centered): Students with majors in SCM will demonstrate biblical literacy, including historical, contextual, and literary parameters, and principles of biblical interpretation.
PSO # 2 (theologically grounded): Students with majors in SCM will know and integrate the historic doctrines of the Christian faith.
PSO # 3 (historically informed): Students with majors in SCM will appreciate the people, events, and ideas that have shaped the Christian church.
PSO # 4 (philosophically conscious): Students with majors in SCM will know the basic parameters of the Christian world-view.
PSO # 5 (ethically engaged): Students with majors in SCM will understand the implications of commitment to Jesus Christ through development of personal character and engagement of societal and communal responsibility reflected in a lifestyle consistent with the biblical faith.
PSO # 6 (practically equipped): Students with majors in SCM will apply their education to the church, in both its local and global contexts, as servant leaders.
