Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment (OIRPA)

PROGRAM REVIEW at CBU is facilitated by the OIRPA. It is a self-examination process undertaken by CBU colleges, schools, and departments to, ultimately, better serve their students. Student Services also participates in program review.

A faculty and staff directed comprehensive assessment and evaluation process, program review incorporates qualitative and quantitative evidence (data) to evaluate and make programmatic improvements.

Quality is not easily defined or evaluated. Nevertheless, quality is indicated through such things as demonstrated student achievement, faculty accomplishments, curriculum, resource management, going planning, assessment, evaluation, and program design.
