College of Nursing
The CBU College of Nursing trains students with state-of-the-art nursing equipment and a Simulation Lab, so students practice in the classroom what they'll need to know in their clinical rotations. To ensure students receive a variety of clinical experiences, rotations take place at various hospitals, health care facilities and the community.
CBU is the first university in Riverside County to offer a bachelor's degree and above in nursing. Our graduates are actively recruited by local and state health care providers. BSN and MSN-prepared nurses are shown to provide better outcomes for patients.

Equipping Nurses For Nearly Two Decades
The need and opportunity for skilled nurses has never been greater. The combination of long-term factors, including a growing elderly population and changes in state and national health care regulations, are driving a demand for nurses that will continue to grow in the years to come. For nearly two decades, CBU's College of Nursing has been committed to the mission of preparing graduates to become excellent nurses who serve others as image bearers of God.
CBU nursing students, both undergraduate and graduate, serve in many ways and in many locations. They serve locally in clinical rotations and by donating their time, resources and care through community outreach programs such as serving food to the homeless. They also serve globally on global engagement trips, evaluating local and global health disparities and serving vulnerable populations within the community.
